This book is a powerful tool for any woman who is married to a man who does not share her passion for Jesus. Everyone has at least ONE friend who needs this book! In Mission Possible you will:

-- Discover how to believe with radical faith for your spouse’s salvation.

-- Learn the secret to “staying the course” while you wait for your promise.

-- Find out why many women don’t like to share their “secret sorrow”.

-- Overcome your own fears and doubts about your husband’s future with God.

-- Join other women in the knowledge that God has a perfect plan of unity for you and your spouse.

“For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband; otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy…

…For how do you know, O wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, O husband whether you will save your wife?”

I Corinthians 7:14, 16

There are many women in church with unsaved spouses. How we deal with this can either draw them to God or push them further away.

D.L. McCarragher show women how to:

- Believe with radical faith for their spouses’ salvation
- Stay the course while they wait for their promise
- Overcome their own fears and doubts about their husbands’ future with God
- Join other women in the knowledge that God has a perfect plan of unity for them and their spouse
- Find out why many women don’t like to share their “secret sorrows”

Wisdom is necessary when dealing with unsaved spouses. According to the author:

Often times it is difficult to tithe, attend every church service, or be at every bible study or function because your husband does not see a need for you to participate or share you with God. Be patient. He must see your commitment and desire to be with God's people and in God’s presence

I love the end of chapter assignments as they help to solidify the information provided in the book. The examples of how other people dealt with an issue are also inspiring and no doubt will help someone going through a similar situation.

I recommend this book to any Christian woman who is struggling with an unsaved spouse.

Believing for your husband's salvation--that is the purpose of this book. If you are in a marriage with an unbelieving spouse, this book is for you. This sentence really spoke to my heart, "It is God's job to make that call of salvation and we must pray they hear the "knock."

According to D L McCarragher, we should pray and speak aloud our spouse's name. We need to find a scripture for our spouses and proclaim it. Visualizing our spouse saved and living for God is also exemplified, as in reaching for the Bible instead of the remote control.

Another part of the book that spoke to me was what to do while waiting and praying for our spouse's salvation. This is God's time to refine us and work on the spouse. We need to stay faithful and deserving as God works His will on the spouse. "God knows the perfect timing and perfect plans He has for your husband."

It may take days, months, years for the change to take place, but God is faithful and just to work. "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful". (Hebrews 10:23)

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who has an unsaved spouse. It is filled with encouragement and scriptures to fortify us and keep us in the faith. God wants us to be a light to our spouses and live for God in front of them. We must pray without ceasing and believe. D L McCarragher does a great job of encouraging and bringing scripture to life as we are praying for our spouses.

About the Author...

Author Deborah McCarragher had a desire to publish her first book, MISSION POSSIBLE - Spiritual Covering for years, but it literally "sat on a spiritual shelf" until God released her to have it printed in late 2007. It has recently been revised in 2015 to include a new cover and interior design. The book addresses the struggles and difficulty of a marriage when one spouse finds the Lord first. Being unequally yoked after you are married presents a unique situation.

Deborah's mission is to encourage women through Scripture to believe in God's Word to transform their husbands, and by challenging women to minister to their spouses in a way that glorifies God. The author's candid approach makes this book an easy read, and compels the reader to join her in her quest to reach her husband for Christ. Alabaster Box Publishing's motto is: Books to stir your mind & stretch your Soul!

Deborah began her journey of creative writing soon after coming to know Jesus as her personal savior in 1989. She uses her spiritual gifts of encouragement and teaching in her home church. She also enjoys in-depth bible study in her personal time, and is a small business owner of over twenty years. She and her husband have one married son serving in the US Military. They reside in north Florida.

Her primary goal is to share her personal testimony with others while bringing hope and practical help through her book.
