This was a great read! Even though it's directed at YA, as an adult, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was full of non-stop action and thrills, and the writing really made me care about the character. The twists and turns kept me guessing the whole times, and when it ended, it left me wishing Book 2 was out already. Can't wait for more from this author!

Emma Beware isn’t my typical kinda read, but the premise seemed interesting so I thought I’d give it a go. Written in a style that I’d consider being multiple, third person omniscient it reads like a screenplay, and you can envision it playing out in you head. But I have to admit it did take some getting used to because that’s not the style in which I normally read. With that said, the storyline itself was an intriguing concept, and being a “whodunit” crime novel, I found myself needing to find out what was going to happen next.
This might fall into the young adult category but I believe this book will appeal to a much broader audience. I loved it and I certainly don't fall into the young adult age range. The author took me on a great ride with just the right balance of suspense, interesting characters and comic relief. I'm impressed that this is her first book. I hope that the next one isn't far behind.
